Geardriven (no internal chain) short, stronger, thicker housing. Basically a tough small transfer case that fits nicely in a Jeep. Also allows front or rear drive only in low etc.

Cheers
Steve

But a square is a rectangle so technically SHS is RHS
Oh yeah does that make tube CHS?

Ok right or wrong I also call it RHS, SHS, Tube or Pipe.

Mate if you are going to put another "stock" transfer case in - why not look at putting in a TJ NP231? At least there are LOADS of upgrades available....

But if you want an Altas or even a Stak

Drove it up to Wooders to pick up my 3.5" RE Superflex kit. Thanks Dave and yep, it did end up all over the loungeroom floor!

Talking

Last weekend I fitted a new cd/radio, then went for a run to Gardens of Stones for the afternoon which was the first bit of 4wd I had done since buying the Jeep and in about 20 years so I was impressed with it! Even if I could not get it into high range 4x4, wrong glasses??

Not many tracks around these days.

During the week my son and I started on a spare wheel carrier. Still partly in the design phase.

I went down to the local track today to see what the rain had delivered, and the council has just finished grading the track last week so not much mud or water on the track. So ended up a Mt Hay which was nice.

Pulled a engine today from JDU's XJ. Fitting a stroker over the weekend that I got for him from the USA.
