Pretty sure thats the heater outlet hose. Get them from any decent Jeep parts supplier.
Rock auto, Morrisons, ebay
Would be doing the inlet and both radiator hoses at the same time unless already done.

Empty tiny, high semp gasket goo, and a few hose clamps if your desperate. Try to get the hose dry first... probably need to drain a few litres out of the radiater then refill and burp the coolant system to do that so might be better to wait the few days till new hoses arrive as you will need to drain it to replace them.

Hey Rick,

thanks for the info. I have temporarily sealed the hose so I can get to work tomorrow and will get the parts ASAP.

Yes, that's the heater hose.

Mine split on the way home from work, many uears ago. Started pumping a jet of water out, straight into the cat. I noticed it when I stopped at some lights turning onto the M4 & was enveloped in the cloud of steam from under the bonnet!

+1 for Rockauto, One of these should be what you need, but verify that it is the right year/model etc: JEEP -> 2008 -> WRANGLER -> 3.8L V6 -> Heat & Air Conditioning -> Heater Hose / Pipe

My other hoses lasted until last year. The heater hose split as the clip near the firewall that holds it in place broke & it chafed through on something near the back of the engine bay. Early in the life of the car & it was replaced under warranty.

I'd cut the hose just past split put back on safer than patching it it will blow the patch out and any auto parts suppliers will have heater hose cheap as

thanks for the info guys,

I have silicone tape sealed for a temp fix and have ordered the parts for Rockauto.

FYI I had Jeep quote me a fix price (both hoses and new coolant) and it came in at $440

That sounds pretty normal.

They quoted me $1179 for a clockspring many years ago before the recall was issued here. I got one from JeepsAreUs delivered for $240...
