Zackmonster,
York isn't in yet (waiting on alternator with v pulley) that's why it's hooked to the btIII for now. Proto Bracket made Rod at Lochleigh Enterprises (aka the barwork magician
) mounts flat on the aircon compressor bracket (no aircon on the Goatsack). Which encorporates a clamp tensioner for good pulley tension.
York was a freebie from a mate. Is the 6+cfm "compact" model. Wreckers have em for about $50. Make sure you get the right pulley setup. And test the elec clutch with 12V - should go 'click' when engaged.
I went a seperate v-belt coz I'd heard of ribbed (for her pleasure) pulley problems eg coming off under load in mud use running one big belt for the lot. Personal pref for this 1.
The Goatsack is a 97 TJ
no aircon
york oiling is sweet - has it's own sump, no in-line oiler required. I've also done a common quick mod I found online which stops an avenue for oil blowback.
