I have the updated NHTSA but posting on here I need a Rhodes scholarship!
Anybody tell me a simple way?
Again I repeat Stellantis are well aware of this updated W68 TSB .The Jeep dealer in Coffs Harbour told my mate he would have to pay $5000.00 plusTold him to ring Stellantis ,he told them if not fixed asap instigate immediate action ,repaired foc!

Is that the W68 revision of Nov 21 ??? Big PDF of 55 pages .............if so here's the link to get the pdf file............... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...wXP_3xPGWpREUq

If one had a hoist it's assumed you would have tools and it wouldn't be that hard a job really other than that stupid cross member at the gear box....

Then again an update from June 2023 shows that basically all WK2's could be in the firing line, since the yanks only seem to recognise the Diesel existing from 2114 then our earlier models may be in it as well............. https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2015/J...UV/4WD#recalls

If the OP comes back with vehicle details it would narrow things down as it may just be a dodgy sensor ...

IN this case I would be having Jeep to have a look at it, hopefully just a sensor fail .............. I would be taking the letter for the W58 recall you got from FCA and the US W68 recall to show the argument to the dealer just in case.............. Keep us in the loop of how it all goes...

UPDATE

Car is at a Jeep service center, their diagnosis was the Tone wheel delaminated.

Was quoted $2900.

Have put in a request with FCA for goodwill, waiting on their reply.

Dealer is taking the piss even providing you a quote given it's a known issue which resulted in a recall. They should be taking it to FCA, not you.

FCA/Stellantis should come to the party - fight them on it given the above if they don't immediately.

Hmmm, that's all interesting...as usual FCA always looking for the cheap way out to repair their problem...not necessarily working.

I had the W58 done on this Jeep, hope it doesn't ever let me down out in the boondocks with the van on!
