Default Hood Latches

Does anyone have any recommendations for some decent hood latches?

There are a heap of cheap ones on eBay but decent ones aren't that cheap.

SBR Offroad have a couple of different types:

I never bothered with them though, the ones that came with the Wrangler were never a problem for me.

I replaced the rubber bits with daystar ones to stop bonnet lift.
I think you can now put JL ones on a JK.

+1 for the daystar rubber replacement. Easy to fit, and working perfectly in full sun and very hot weather for almost 7 years now.

My '08 still has the original ones. No issues?

Buy some stock JL ones, just requires drilling the current holes to 3/8 and they fit perfectly. I love mine.no flutter at all

My 09 still has good latches, so I am also one of the lucky ones, especially with how much the hood is up because electrical gremlins suck and blow).

Latches would be one of those things I would pay the extra for a quality set because the cost of cheap ones failing could be catastrophic.

I liked the look of the Rugged Ridge ones, but I don't have any reviews on them.
