One with the pre cleaner

And one with the ram

I'm going to run the pre cleaner for a week or 2 and then run the ram to see if there's any difference

Looks the goods, GreenJK. Dare you to run them across the outback for a week or two and then see if there's any difference in your air filter . Interesting that the Safari fits. Bet we could do a roaring trade with the Yanks. There seems to be a few unhappy chaps over there that haven't gotten their ram intakes yet and can't cop the looks of the transparent pre-cleaner.
Picking up my CRD this arvo, will try to get my AEV snorkel on over the weekend as time permits. More likely to be next week, tho. Got the 76mm holesaw and dremel cutter ready to go. Hey, cop this: Jeep finally here after 5 months of waiting...now everyone in Melb is out of BFG A/Ts and no stock for 6-8 weeks from Michelin...gotta laugh.

Good news on the jeep being here i'm sure there would be a big difference in the filter as i have only done a few hundred k and can already see crap in the precleaner more interested to see if it changes economy, noise and power.
What size tyres are you looking at putting on i have 32's but will go 33's next time still happy with the bfg's and have about 40'000 on them know snorkel is really easy to install and wont take long get some small rubber hose to slide over your aerial and you'll be happy

Yeah, will be interesting to see if there's a diff in mileage with/without snorkel and ram/prefilters. Would be most noticeable in hot, dusty weather I reckon: where a slightly choked filter would need more right boot. I'm sticking close to the orig tyre size for now with 265/70 17s (ie. 32"). Had decided on the A/ts but now looking at G/Y Wrangler MTRs again.
