Default Hello from melbourne

Hi everyone new to the forum and a have a quick question. Does anybody know how long it takes to replace and fit the ac compressor on a 2003 gc overland? I need mine replaced and regassed fortunately I have the spare so just want an estimate time on the work. Also can anyone recommend any good jeep mechanics in Melbourne (preferably ascot vale area)?
Appreciate any advice thank you.

I just replaced one on a Commodore, and that's down low in the engine bay. One hour tops. Just for changing over the compressor. Not gassing, replacing dryer, etc.

The 2003 Grand Cherokee compressor is on top, and front. Couldn't be easier to get to.

To change the compressor only 1 hour, if nothing breaks. Plus gassing, dryer replacement maybe, etc. <<--- That I don't know.

Thank you for referring Robert I contacted him today and his coming out on the weekend to check a leak that the guy at Ultra tune said we have (was gonna have them re-gas for 150). Extremely handy that Robert's down the road and seems very genuine.

My partner ended up doing the job...(originally that was the plan but he hadn't had the time) 30mins all up it took!! Very simple fit!
