Default Led headlights

That’s great news kritip, looking at the website it does appear to cover plenty of options including some I’ve already had my dealer enable. Apart from what you have done I also really want to extend the time between operations of the rear wiper when set to run intermittent, I’m probably pushing my luck on that one.

Did your new OBD2 device cost much? Apparently it’s locked to the vehicles VIN# so not much point in sharing clip.

The "bixenon" mode is also for LED....the description in the app expands on what the setting does. It's just not shown on that screen capture.

It just disables the PWM signal on high and low beam

The software is tied to only one VIN number when you purchase it so it won't work on any other Jeep so you need to buy a copy.

From what it can do it seems worth the cost for sure compared to what a dealer would charge.

I dunno if it has that option lol, but I'll check tomo for you

The OBD scanner was about $80 AU, so a hard pill to swallow when all my other ones were a few $$ from ebay...however this one is a fully compliant scanner so works so much better.

The cheapies would clear DTC's and report my speed etc when driving, but just don't do the advance stuff that software like this uses.

Thanks kindly, seeing as this scanner is proven to work can you share a link to it also? Cheers.

I will share it but reluctantly.....purely because the website is very waffley, he's based in AU but bills in USD, there are reports (though I can't confirm or deny) he repackages free or cracked software, and he claims the reader contains "genuine" ELM firmware flashed into their own chip, however ELM confirmed to me they don't provide firmware to anyone and only sell pre-programmed chips, so the seller is making false claims......however.....

it does work, and passes all of the tests for an ELM 2.1 interface unlike any of my other devices I own ( and I own 4 others of different styles) ....so on that front it get a positive.

Shame ELM electronics make it so hard to get a genuine device with a genuine chip.

I found a seller in Europe that sells a scanner with the genuine chips, but they never got back to me with a shipping quote.

Deffo avoid the cheapy ebay ones for an application like this....they simply won't work.

Sorry for the long post.....here's the link:

Thanks and fair enough to warn as you did. [emoji106] If it doesn’t already exist then may I suggest you create a new topic on this vehicle configuration tool and copy your relevant posts there?

Seems like it could help peeps from modifying their vehicles unnecessarily for common complaints.
