Auto head lights not Working as they should
I have a 2014 Overland with Auto headlights,I love it and the Wife loves it so that makes my life happier..... about a month ago I noticed the touch screen display was dim during the day when my Lights are set to Auto on the switch near your knee.I know you can adjust the wheel to double click it so it stays on but its a pain after having it working ok for so long.
I replaced the sunlight sensor on the top of the dash and still is the same, is there a set up in the settings that I am missing or something else as the only thing I can do is bend over and give it to the dealership and then pump me for my hard earned cash ..... Any help would be appreciated

In settings Display you can also set to manual and adjust the Night and day brightness for the screen there.
I have a 2015 so it may be slightly different to yours.
There should be a scroll wheel near the light switch as well that can increase or decrease screen brightness, maybe you accidentally scrolled it.

Are your headlights actually coming on in bright daylight or shaded/dim light?
In settings there is a place to adjust sensitivity of auto lights.

Sometimes they stay on during the day which then drops the touch screen to low dimming mode when the light switch is set to auto
You can adjust the sensitivity only in day mode or night mode not Auto on the touch screen
