$245 delivered . Made sure that the needle coil was measured before it was posted . It arrived today and measured the coil again and it seems ok (around 100 ohms .
Was itching to change it but among all the tools I have of course the 28mm socket wasn't in my inventory . I'll get one tomorrow .
Once I'll change it I will try and pull apart the faulty one and atempt to rewire the coil . Should be fun ...or disaster .
You dont pull the injector to bits, you just dig out the sensor from the hole its in. Its a blind hole. Need to dig all the resin out & the coil will be in there.

Today got the injector in . All good.. rev's up no problem ...basically it flies again . Tough cutting the slot in the 28mm socket took some time .
Layback..If the coil has resin pored in than I don't like my chances but I'll give it a shot when I'm bored and nothing else to do .

Not sure if above link would work but it shows the needle sensor pulses measured across the 2 wire coming out of the injector number 1 unpluged from the main loom .
It seems to have a pulse of 0.4 volts .
Measurment with an ohm meter of the main loom plug should show 7.1-7.2 Kohm .
Just in case anyone interested .
If not many people have an osciloscope another alternative is using an android phone with a lead trough the speaker plug . Just download from google play store the osciloscope application and connect the lead (ground and signal) to needle sensor 2 wires (unpluged from main loom).
Have to say that I'm not liable for any damage to your phone but it should work with no issues . Test lead description and how to a bit latter .

This is the plug end of the test lead that plugs in to the android phone speaker socket (mine is an old Samsung nexus ).
The other end of the lead (midle core and shield) can be connected stright on to the needle sensor wires ( again unpluged from main loom )
On the android phone screen the pulse shape is a bit different but good enough to assess that there is a pulse present .
Also the timer division has to be adjusted up or down untill pulse is visible . Volt scale should be 0.1v per division .
