My local shopping center kiosk type one did one for me. Don't remember how much it was, but I think it was some piddly insignificant amount by comparison.

Just got a key in Darwin for $180. Much better price.

I had a shopping centre locksmith do an uncoded key for mine 2015jku and was very cheap but a coded one was $2-300. But can't use an uncoded key in new jeeps as apparently the vehicle will shutdown and need to be towed! So I only use the uncoded one for the petrol cap and doors, it's handy for the beach!

Although this is not going to help you right now, handy for others out there to make a spare key. You need two working keys to do this. You can make a spare working key for around $40.

Worked on mine, 2010. However couldn't say it works across the board.
