Default TJ: Terror TJ gets a dose of the roids!

Well I know this is not going to be the biggest, baddest or fastest Jeep build up thread on ausjeep, but at the same time I just wanted to share the build up of my 2002 black TJ.

I bought the car in 2003 after owning a 97 red TJ for the previous 5 years. The black TJ came with a: 2.5" OME SL, American racing 15x7" alloys, 31" Goodyear Wrangler M/T's, F+R ARB air lockers.

Last year I decided to add a 1.25" JKS BL, 1"mml, 7" warn flares, 16x8" M/T classic locks, 33" baja claws.

Now the time has come to begin the final stage of my build up. My aim is to run either a 35" or 37" BFG Krawler or M/T Baja Claw. This is how I plan on doing it:

4.5" RE lift, not sure as to SA or LA
Rancho RS9000 shocks
Super Short SYE with new CV d/s
Super 30 front diff with ARB locker
Dana 44 rear diff with ARB locker
4.88 gears

Hanson 52" front bar
Hanson rocker guards
Hanson rear bar with square frame tyre carrier
Warn low mount winch

I think that is all for now but if anyone has any suggestions/comments, please ask.

Maz.

Well have just received my new hanson offroad 52" front bar and rocker guards. Mounted them up on the weekend. It was a pretty simple install and I'm really happy with the quality of the Hanson products. Both the front bar and rocker guards are heavy but Im not too worried about this as I wanted them for the strength they offered. I am so happy with them I have decided to order the rear bar with tyre carrier.

Only negative is that they aren't cheap but I guess you pay for quality.
