Sorry for the late response.
Re-inserted the cables for both sensors with same result.
Next step is to purchase both In/Out sensors.

Sorry for the thread resurrection.
By daughters Kk Jet has had similar issues. Dealer reckons is a $6k fix!!!!
I checked the codes and it came back as a torque converter issue.
Anyone had the same?

What issue are you experiencing John, any unusual behaviour or just a code?
From my experience and what I hear from others dealers don’t know how to diagnose issues, instead they throw everything including the kitchen sink at the problem hoping an all in approach will fix it - at our expense of course. Better to take it to an independent specialist, particularly a transmission shop that also have experience with Jeep, Chrysler & Dodge.

Sorry for the verrrrry late response.
In the end I had to replace the solenoid pack.
Had to get the tranny specialist to do this and it set me back around $1500-1800

The Stealers would never bother with a tranny issue that is outa warranty. Looks like they would have done you for a new transmission.
If you change your transmission fluids regularly, it is usually the solenoid(s) that crap themselves. Even at that cost, consider yourself lucky!
The earliest sign of trouble is when you don't change gears going up a steep incline, or not having access to your top gears on the flat road.

Were both times problems after a forced flush of the system? I know this problem comes up a lot on other Jeep transmissions too rather than just drain the pan and replace. Leaving the rest of the old fluid in the converter etc instead works best.
