Default WJ 2" lift?

Hi All

Newbie here, Just buying a stock WJ V8. I would like to give it a little lift.

Not super keen on the spring spacer idea. Anybody used Kings springs with there lift? Only seems to be 20mm.

Any other spring options out there without importing from the USA?

Im in New Zealand.

I haven't found any good lift kit here and even then it is almost as expensive as if you would get one from overseas.

I would go for a 3 inch lift kit with Springs and shocks pot. Swaybar links.the rear should be ok with out the need of replacing everything.

Ironrock off-road has some solid kits you could consider. I assume incl sending you are looking at about 1000 Dollars

Thanks
Joerg

Kings springs are good in my experience, they made mine and they've worked well for 120,000km. I like OME shocks, price is pretty good and they work well. There's two flavours, go for the newer sport model is my suggestion.

I'd also suggest buying new spring idolaters too, will be good for another 15-20mm of lift on most cars.

You won't need swayer link extensions for a 2" lift.
