Very easy. You get under the transfer case, find the drain plug near the bottom of it, then find the filler plug somewhere above it. Open the filler plug first just to make sure it hasn't seized, plus it'll drain quicker, then open up the drain plug, empty everything, close the drain plug, fill up using a bottle pump with a hose attached to it, when it starts coming out (approx 2L), close the filler plug and that's it.

Am looking forward to Tuff Truck. I've never even spectated let alone compete as navigator on a team. Just hoping the driver doesn't get me killed lol. He said if he does, then it was probably my fault lol

Yeah, I know . Better take in 2L lots as the transfer case takes 2L. Maybe 6 or 8L for future changes. I'll take 6L (for this and next 2 changes). Maybe some other members in Sydney might want some too .

Don't use a lot of force to tighten the bungs as they and the housing are only alloy.
Trivia.....did you know there is a filter in the TC......????

I change mine when I do my auto, so every 30,000k, I think the book says 40,000k and it's always clean as a whistle.

I do my engine every 10000k, auto & TC 30,000, fuel 20,000, diffs about 50,000

Usually take some bark off my knuckles getting the fuel filter off, one day I'm going to fit the CAV filter I have in my shed.
