Is your engineer going to pass the JK with the 42's ?
Or are they just for trails ?

Nah No chance. In W.A. we are limited to 50mm bigger regardless of being able to pass all the lane change and braking tests etc. I can't even get the 37's legal.
Here are a couple of pic taken at home testing the coilover travel. I'm going to need some bigger logs.

well tonight while doing some testing I was using my Aeroforce Gauges and figured I would do a 0-100 speed run and see what time I would get. Due to the very limited straight road I have available which is also on a slight hill I did a run in both directions to even things out. I'm pretty confident I could shave quite a bit off these times as well as I have both fuel tanks full and all the tools in the back etc and also took it easy off the line. Picture below shows the results. Disregard the 1/4 mile times etc as I had to back off as soon as i got to 100. High 5 second 0-100 time isn't too shabby for a Jeep on 37's especially since the stock 3.8 time is about 11.

Hi. Its going really well. I don't get to drive it as much as I would like. Since the last update a lot has happened. My mate flooded the Jeep and it destroyed the transmission. Luckily insurance paid out so I got a new transmission at the same time I put in the new Atlas 4 speed transfer case and the rock krawler long arm including 3 link rear suspension. I've also installed a snorkel and 5 point harnesses. I got married in March this year and fitted up the 42's for the occasion. I have some trimming to do in the front but the rear is good. Since getting married in March I have only been in Australia for 2 weeks and am currently in Russia for work until the end of the year so I'm not getting a chance to enjoy it. I did have a big smile on my face when I pulled out the drive way on the 42's and put the foot down and was still able to light up the rear tyres. Can't do that with stock tyres with the stock engine. I'll see if I can get some photos up.
