So went to repco for oil and filter, then seen they had 5w uhf control on the mic for half price $139 so I grabbed it, then made it home and couldn't resist. got the dremmel out and went to work, just have to run a power feed and antenna up to it. I did plan to buy the gme but this came along.

Boss: Don't you have anything to do?
Employee: Yes sir! But unfortunately I had to come to work!

Fitted up the alloy bull bar. Needs modifying, so thank god my welder is set up for alloy already

Now to decide whether to leave it white, or paint it black to match the car.

Just a quick lap of the block. Got sick of using my wipers to notify other road users I was preparing to turn! Haha

Haha, yes won't be long hopefully and I'll put it through its paces.

Diff noise you say...well if you said that in the car I wouldn't hear you! Yeah pretty bad, the pinion is very loose, going to attempt to tighten it today. Oil colour looks great and smells new so hoping the bearing might be ok. Probably not the case but will try the simple fix first. Also noticed the rear shaft, front uni has had the retaining clip welded in! Seems I have acquired quite a gem haha
And the water from the air con drain hose is a bit of a worry. Hopefully not the heater core. Hard to tell as the engine only has water in it, no coolant, which is not great either.

Ordered a MAP sensor and coil from Rockauto. Cheapest freight was to get it sent to Adelaide then get my aunt repackage it in a $14 Aust Post satchel and send it to where I live. Managed to save $20 in freight doing it that way, go figure......

Regards A
