Default The new purchase

Got this one a week or 2 ago now (been meaning to get time to post up).
06 laredo, 65th anniversary, qd11, 2"OME, AT tyres, nudge bar, sun roof, tint, electric towing brakes....pretty well kitted out exactly how i wanted it.
Was originally looking for a post update 08 or newer with the mygig, but this one has the qd11, and with only 125k klms, the retired airforce engineer who owned it from new and only really used it for towing with the missus, has really looked after it and is primo nick!
Just want to get a bonnet protector and weather shields, some rustproofing and thats bout it really.

Very happy with it. The 3.0 v6 crd sounds so good (especially compared to the vw transporter 2.5 5cyl i got that sounds like a tractor)...and we took it from the sunny coast to rockhampton and back last weekend... I let the wife drive for a bit and i jumped in the backseat for a kip -so much more comfortable back there than the tj or xj i had...and a ton more room!

Here she is the weekend after we got it up noosa north shore, testing out the low range. One question, when driving in sand (or mud), should i turn the traction control off? It was making some wierd noises at speed on the sand and just before we left came up with the ESP warning light(sorry, cant remember the exact one, not with the car or books at the moment). Went away after a while after got it back in the tarmac though.

Turn off traction control when in high range on sand, Low range t/c turns off itself.

As Clarky said, but remember to turn it off properly by holding the ESP button for five seconds or so until it says 'ESP OFF' on the EVIC

Yep, washed it. Have to get it dirty again to cover up the scratches...
