Default June 2017 Rant

StarTrack Couriers.

Is there a worse freight company than StarTrack?

I don't think I've ever had a straight forward delivery from this mob. They are truly hopeless.

I ordered 2 items from a company that was sent on the same day at the same time as each other.

I had to pick one up at the depot yesterday as they refused to leave it at home unattended. Fair enough.

The other one after it went back to the Newcastle depot as I wasn't at home was then forwarded on to Taree. No problems they tell me, it's on it's way back to Newcastle and I can pick it up today.

Just got a phone call from them, not to worry sir, it's getting closer. It's now in Sydney.....

What annoys me is that it's not the first time they have sent my parcels to Sydney for some unknown reason.

I used to think TOLL was bad. A couple of years ago I bought a 50" light bar, it came in two boxes, one was the light and the other was the wiring harness. The driver delivered the light bar but lost the wiring harness box.

After I contacted TOLL to find out where it was, the driver rang me that night and said that he has a spare one in his garage that he isn't using and would I mind if he gave me it to make up for it.

Turns out, he was just starting in the job and didn't want one of his first deliveries to end up in a complaint so I took it.

Yeah I've had issues with them too, a few times when I've been home or the wife, no knock at the door, front door left open on purpose and just a note left in the letterbox saying noone home and they say they're not gonna redeliver until I start saying how I've been home all day and the slack dickhead just jams a note in the letterbox

sent from my WG Grand Cherokee using the ausjeepoffroad app

I sent a HT Holden rim to Hobart yesterday via Aust Post....... Blow me down lucky I made a trip home instead of staying the next few days at my GF's house 2hrs away, where I mailed the rim.... Blow me down they sent the parcel to my home address..... The post label had the blokes Hobart address and the postage paid label stamp thingy was just next to the receivers address label that they put on..... I thought in case it gets lost I will scribble my home address in pen and that was on duct tape, on the back of the parcel... I was like WTF?????
