Those groups would get support oif people knew about it sooner. Easy for those without kids and the likes to be able to do stuff at short notice but not for the majority of people.

I knew nothing of this until I saw your post on here and I get all sorts of emails.

I don't think anyone at SJC was advised of it, but don't quote me on that as I've not been able to make it to a meeting for a while now.

FYI - I am not an organiser and I'm not out to "save your souls". Where did that come from? No-one on this website had even mentioned that this rally might be important to attend. I am just pissed off that my recreation (which I thought was shared with most people here) is being taken away by people who do not care at all about what we want - or the people of Lithgow want. It will kill much of the local industry and no-one gives two sh1ts.

There were dozens of clubs represented there - all got their invite from the Association some time ago - and why your club did or did not is neither here nor there and not up to the rest of us to manage for you. Sounds like the club's Association liiason officer whasn't doing their job - so don't go blaming anyone else. It has been discussed on all the other mainstream 4WD forums for weeks so it's not as though no-one knew about it. I don't need your negativity - we have similar interests. Don't knock me, thank you, just because I choose to try and garner a little support for our own good.

im not knocking you at all. I share your disapointment and agree that more jeepers should have attended, however I do feel that the assoc is to blame when they conveniently forget to inform sjc ad then you come on with the theres only one jeep crack ( thats where my smart arse reply came from)
I've also heard from other sources that the assoc couldnt be bothered to contact sjc because we dont turn up to cleanups etc. Although its a bit hard when your told after the event that it was on (spanish steps cleanup) what about our roll up to menia??????
As for why didnt we hear about it from other forums, I dont frequent other aussie web sites (im not interested in being told how much better the latest toyota is)
And yes i do blame the assoc for not contacting us.
