I have changed the fuel filter this afternoon and that hasn't made a difference. So I thought I would just double check the injector. I am now getting readings all over the place. It has jumper as high as 150 and as low as 33.5. so guessing that's the problem

I changed the filter this afternoon and that's made no difference . So I thought I would double check the injector. I am getting readings all over the place now. One minute it's 33.5 then 60 something then shot up to 150 for a second . Guessing it is the injector. I'm pretty sure it was ok when I put it in

This sounds like you either have a short in the lead/plug or are not holding your multimeter leads on very well. All XJ diesel owners have been here.
If 150 is the correct reading, thats good. But if its jumping around there is your issue. Need to do the reading unplugged from the car.

Yes I've got it unplugged from the connector at the back of the engine. Is 150 not to high. ? I'll double check again today but the reading is generally around 35/60

I have just retested it with a new multimeter and it's reading 93.2 resistance at the injector end. The plug where it plugs into is reading 11.07 volts with the ignition on .

93.2 ohms is reasonable. A little low but should be ok.
its just a coil that provides a spike signal when the injector fires.
I am not sure what you get on the engine management side.
Its concerning that you got other values of resistance.
One expects a repeatable value. Yours are all over the place.
That makes me think you may have an issue with the lead to the injector or in the coil. Having it move up to 150 ohms sounds like something is breaking down, either the coil or the lead. Going down to 30 sounds like a short.
Best workout why the value is all over the place. That will go a long way to solving your problem.
