Hey Matt,

yes, have a look here : http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...+drawer&page=2. Let me know if you want more pictures, or have any other questions on the storage system. Budget build, but turns out to be very practical and sturdy.

Saying that, If I would do it again, I would use one of those metal shelving systems from bunnings (or so) for the structure (like the bloke that posted his unit in this thread sometime ago)

Cheers.

Just came back from a night drive and its a bit weird -it projects 2 beams one directly in front another up further there is a " dark" gap about 20m -dont like that. Lights up all the retro-reflectors well and so far no one has flashed me

Im still on the fence if I like them, they do look very cool tho.
Hate to say this but I think a 90/130 bulb upgrade is better.

There is one minor problem with them the parker light hole its very small so im putting a 5mm 4500mcd white LED in each to see how that looks.
Did you take any night pics to show how they illuminate?

Talking Installed oricom radio into jeep this morning

So i installed a oricom uhf 180 into the jeep this morning...

Started off by doing this for the main head unit part

The antenna part and where i ran the cable was the best job done i reckon
In the end the antenna was mounted to the rear tire carrier

Another shot

I ran the cable through the same hole that the rear stop light uses

Then ran it behind that bit of plastic on the door to the back...

Then behind the carpet on the side of the interior and behind the seat belt etc to the front footwell

For the rest of the radio itself, I made some spaghetti worst where the stereo goes

Here is the earth for the cb, it is actually a black wire

Here is the main guts part under the dash that contains the speaker, Ive kinda just jammed it under there and put the panel back to hold it

Here is the actual interface where you change the channel and all that also it has the connector for the mic here

Here is another shot from the side

Overall the process was pretty simple, if youve done car stereos before this should be a cinch. The hardest part was finding an earth point for the unit, as you can see i drilled one myself which was a pain in the ass. The jeep seems to have one of the hardest dashes to work on in my experiance.

Enjoy the pics
