Default Hand Brake Cable

Hey All,

My hand brake cable is very tought, so much so that they are rubbing on the underside of the body and they are polishing the body work to a spectacular raw metal shine.

I have read that you can buy stock YJ hand brake cables as they are longer and will give me the extra lenght i need. And they attach to the same points the current 94 XJ ones do.

I have had a look at some jeeps and I can clearly see the hand brake cable.

I need some help here cause this is a new one to me.
Thanks.

mine have polished a nice shiney surface on either side of my 96 at 1.5" of lift and i havnt had any problems.. they have this little movable sleve which should be right on that spot were it rubs.. if your to worried just buy some spilt tube or cut a small section of garden hose and run it over the top.

cant help with the wrangler setup sorry.
