Default Performance Tune/ Remap ECU

Im Looking to put a snorkel larger, air box with KN filter, throttle body spacer, headers and a 2.5" exhaust with high flow cat and muffler and will be putting the new multiport gas injection system and will be wanting a tune to make the most of the options i would expect somewhere in the area of a 40-50kw gain at the fly was wanting to know who has tuned the 4.0lt motor and where they got it done etc....im in melbourne by the way.

Cheers

Remap ECU .... as in change factory settings on the chip ????

I'de be keen on this info too .... as chrysler dealers and exchange ECU / PCM outlets appear unable to do it.

gains of 40-50kw are unachievalble without modifying the motor internally unluess you turbocharge or supercharge the engine .

in regards to tuning you made need to contact someone like the horsepower factory although i dont think you can change the way the factory pcm is set ..

maybe call injectronics aswell

these plug-in chips will apparently give you up to 25hp increase (petrol only)

I thought the computer that comes with the gas injection system was completely tunable. So you should be able to tune it how you want an long as it is running on gas & at normal operating temp.
Could be wrong.

Most LPG computers run piggy back from original computer ,they arent 'graphable' they just correct the signal for gas.
Also they dont do anything with the timing ,so dont take advantage of LPGs higher octane.
