Full leaf packs would be nice but will bump postage up alot because of weight. Also there adjustable pan hard rod(if included) will be useless to you as its for a LHD.

Also remember anything over $1000 will be hit with import tax too before customs will release it to you.

All I can suggest is giving hammerhead4x4 a msg.

Default I like it

I think you have inspired me to to be sensible and go with the 3 inch lift. I was looking at the 4.5 but I am really not excited about having to do all the extras to go to the next level. I am currently running 31x10.5 coopers, they rub when in the rear with car loaded up, have you increased the length of your bump stops to accomodate the 31's?

I have my 31x10.5 mt's on standard alloy rims and dont get any rubbing at full flex. The offset of the standard rims work perfect. I didnt have to increase my bump stops. I might of added 5-10mm

I can always add 2" blocks and 2" shackels for 5" lift for 33" tyre down the track after the 31's wear out, sye done, diff re gearing and wooders panhard rod and relocation bracket.

Im happy with it at the moment, have not been stuck once. The front locker really helps off road. I creep through stuff while my mates is patrols n cruisers hit stuff over n over until momentem get them through or I tow them out. I make shit look easy.

That may be my problem, mine are on 15x7 dynamics with a 4.25 inch backspacing. It's the regearing and sye that I am trying to avoid at this point in time. I had all the plans in the world when I got the car but have not really had a need to do all of the above. Lift is definitely necessary though and I will order the kit in the next week or so, the rear LSD is pretty good and with only running 31's at this point the diffs should be just fine for now.

The locker is probably the next most logical step, I better do some research.

The rear LSD is ok offroad if its nice and tight/new but if from what I have been reading they seem to wear out at around 100 000km. I'm going to give mr wooders a call and see if they do a rebuild kit for the d35 LSD.

Ive found nothing can compare to having a locker up front. Just makes life so much easier off road.

Had a rear drive shaft uni joint fail on me yesterday while going up my driveway. Pulled the drive shaft and replace both uni joints with greaseable replacements from REPCO. They cost $28 each and also found that all the uni joints are the same.

Some pictures

Also the slight vibes I had accelerating from 40km to 60km/h after doing the lift is gone

Rusty I thought you were running a SYE? That tailshaft won't work with a SYE....

Avoiding a SYE is odd, they are easy to fit, not very expensive and IMHO worth every cent, I have one in mine and I am only on a 2" lift....
