The filler "T"'s into the original cross pipe ( it would be better as a Y but time wasn't my friend. ). Yes it runs a transfer pump to get the fuel back into the main tank and all the breathers go into the main emission system.

I've removed the storage "dint" in the rear floor and moved the rear anti roll bar back and down along with the obvious exhaust rework.

The tank could have been even bigger, but i wanted to maintain ground clearance / departure angles etc ( its no mall crawler ) so decided to limit the capacity. It still has more clearance than the standard muffler and is protected pretty well by the diff housing from the front and the anti roll bar from the rear. Also its reasonably square... if i had of spent extra time fitting it around things it could hold probably 5 ltr's more - but just didn't seem worth all the extra effort.

Even without jerries absolutely no problem driving solidly all day without any thought of a refill.

where'd you put the 'T' in? down near the frame rail or just under the cap? do both tanks fill at the same time? or can you chose

About the middle of the vehicle.

Everything just fills at its own rate...... mostly the main tank first as the fuel flows straight through the tee then when the mains full flows to the aux... but not 100% Main then Aux but close enough.... sort of an overflow system.

The Tee is no great feat of design... time wasn't in my favor so "works" was good enough. I actually have a second filler neck, surround and cap to fit on the drivers side... but what I've currently got works so sort of put it on the backburner. One day..... perhaps... maybe ...

A bit late replying to this. I missed it.
Anyhow getting back to mufflers, I built mine for $70 about 3 years ago.
The muffler is actually a straight through type but the internal perforated tube is formed in an "S" so that the inlet and outlet are staggered.
Even though it is tucked up high, note that I have still managed to damage the tip of the tail pipe. (again)
If this was an MBRP system or similar it would be pretty much totalled, at least the tail pipe(s) would be.

Note also that I have relocated the trailer plug up onto the chassis for the same reason, to avoid the ground and other stuff. A bit of a pain to reach under to connect the plug, but not as much pain as when you find it torn off and the wiring dangling and shorting out!
The trailer plug and exhaust are actually tucked up higher than it looks in the photo. A bit of an optical illusion.
