Default Where to get a part made....

I need a part for a Gobi Rack... and they're not responding to emails. So was thinking of getting someone local to make it.

But... who could I get to make a part like that? Is that a fabricator? I've never done something like that before. Any ideas?

It's a small round thing, about the size and shape of a cinammon donut. Needs to be made of something that can take weight.

I've been going through a similar thing with me winch, i fabbed up my own interim bracket and found a mate to help me out, but i found you can eaither find something and modify it to suit or bite the bullet and get something custom made mostly as a considerable expense for something one off, what exactly is the issue, most of us jeep guys are pretty handy

Being a builder, I use our structural steel guys to fabricate stuff like that .
If you do get stuck, I can put you onto them. I am on the Mornington Peninsula

Cheers, Craig

what does it need to be made of?
probably the part you want is available as a generic part. Do you have a phone number for Gobi or who ever represents them?

The part I lost, sits inside the rear hinge of the Gobi Rack and the bolt goes thought it. It looks like a donut.

It the pick attached you can't really see it, the donut sits inside the hinge, the bolt goes through the donut.

Not the best explanation... but you get the idea.
