Default Cooper ATR's

Picked up a second hand set of Cooper ATR's 275/70 17 on EvilBay this week. Looks fractionally more aggressive with pubescent 'side-biters' but according to my wife it drives the same as the factory Wranglers.
My first drive will be at the Wheeny Creek run with SJC this Saturday where I will take advantage of the 7mm extra clearance under the diffs Not really expecting much but being LT construction should make them a little tougher.
Tires are a stopgap measure until I can afford some muddies on a second set of rims.

Do you guys normally have a completly seperate set of Tyres & Rims for when you go off road?
I use my JK for my daily drive but am looking at getting the Maxxis MT-764 BIG HORN, when i need to replace the bridgestone duelers.

That's what I want to achieve - one set of legal/quiet/safe/small tyres for DD duties, and another set of illegal/loud/unsafe/big play tires.

Saving for the second set (and the necessary lift/barwork/etc to complement them)

I run BFG KM2s 285/75 as a daily tyre and very happy with them.

I run a second set with 285/70R17 Bighorns. I was patient and waited for a set of factory alloys to come up for sale on the forum and then went out and got the tyres. My JK is my daily drive and I prefer the ride and handling of the Wranglers around town.

Yeah I would not have the space for a second set, so I run one set. What was wrong with the ride of the Bighorns?
