Greetings from sunny.... ummm sometimes rainy.... umm sometimes cyclone threatened far north queensland.

New to the whole 4WD scene. Just getting used to the feeling of driving so far off the ground and looking down on sedans.

Woot a local well close enough.

I drive a Cherokee KJ Sport 2002. I bought it second hand about a month ago and just breaking it in and learning as much as I can. hehe

Noticed there is a local Jeep Owners Club either operating here or in Townsville.

Have you had much contact with them?

I am wanting to get into a bit of geocaching and am sorting out my GPS options atm.

I believe the club is in Townsville,there was talk a year or two ago of a Cairns club but I don't think it ever came about.

Apparently I spoke to a woman at work whose husband is in the club and they had a meeting at Ireland Holden at Cairns a couple of days ago.
