Default KK forum future

I was just thinking out aloud about how long this forum will stay active. KK's are getting a bit long in the tooth now. I guess most are now running around in the hands of second or third owners. Will they seek this forum for information?

I'm keeping ours. 49000k after 6 years. Hmm hardly run in!!

Well considering our 99 WJ has 280000 on her and there are lots of us and the older XJ and ZJ owners on here I wouldn't think the KK forum is in any danger. Everyone I meet with a Jeep of any variety I send over here as the wealth of information and help is great.

New members will buy 2nd hand ones and filter through, but yes it potentially slows as a natural evolution

I have a 2005 KJ still going strong and believe it or not when i go to 4wd club some do not believe its a 2005 model thinking its a newer one. To me the KJ is the perfect beach 4wd, loves to tow my caravan the only minor issue is that the 3.7L petrol drinks like a drunken sailor. There are lots of KJ and KK's driving around Brissy.
The old saying look after it and it will look after you
My next jeep will be a jeep ute hopefully/.

Thirsty depending on what you compare it to before the KJ I had a 3.0l diesel patrol it ran at 13l/100 and anywhere up to $1.80 A litre KJ averages between 9 on highway 13 with a ton of tool trailer on on about 11 round town and only $1.40 ok for premium unleaded
