Maybe the same guy as in the video I saw, wish I could track him down, from memory, he just installed the standard spacer kit, with zero issues.

Older thread I know but had thought I'd saved the how two vid on this several years back for when i needed to replace my UCAs. Figured while replacing the UCAs would be an ideal moment to add spacers to the top of the air strut to give a little more travel before topping out. I've used Alpha OBD to increase default ride heights to allow me to run 33" KO2s. This works beautifully and I can even still get extra height if I punch the button for Off Road I. I can also get Park Mode and Aero works normally on the highway. I think I can actually get into ORII but I don't do it as it seems likely to be a stretch (literally) too far. But in even Normal with the new ride heigh values and the 33s I get some 15in clearance.

That said, I of course have to endure the typical "bang" on the front struts when they top out over bumps. So my goal was to add the spacers to drop the air strut down 2" or so to buy back just a touch more travel.

Finally gonna go for it on replacing the UCAs but could NOT find the video though I swear I saw it. Looked for months and finally found this thread. Registered just so I could say thank you - welp: THANK YOU!
