Default Replace self levelling shockies

My MY14 diesel has towed 300kg ball weight since new and the shock absorbers have a slow leak. OEM replacement is $2600 for the shocks alone. Pedders have offered their Gas Sports Ryder Shock and the heavy duty Coil Rite Airbag Kit with Sleeve as a replacement.

Looking at Murchison's web page about their 2 inch lift (which my WK2 has), they say that self-levelling shocks can't be replaced without affecting the 3.5T towing capability.

I will ring Murchison and Pedders on Monday to sort this out, but in the meantime does anybody have any experience with this issue?

You can buy the Nivomat shocks from Murchison for $900 each or from rockauto for about $350 each.
Simple to diy install.

Agree with @Russc0123, I would order from Rockauto or Murchison, from Rockauto new ones landed would slug you AUD$1316 of which AUD$247 is freight and near $120 is GST...... I had a lookie.

I tow with not that much on the ball as my Jeep doesn't have that much loading left but find the Nivomatts damn good.
