I bought the set from DBOR & got these: Mirrors for Trail Doors, since I couldn't be bothered chasing around wreckers etc for other mirrors.

Pics as soon as I can get them!

I have just done the same to the inside edge, does it matter that the bonnet with the u channel rubber is touching the snorkel now in a small place?

Mine touches as well. I was thinking of bending up the inside lip a little but I really don't think there will be a great deal of vibration there. The u channel is quite thick anyway.

I also ended up spraying that area white. I wasn't impressed that the pressure pack of bright white cost me $33. They have definitely raised the price from the last time I bought one

That's what I want but the idea scares the missus. She feels vulnerable without the doors

Just remind her of the bits in the manual & on the hardtop that say, "Warning the roof & doors of this vehicle are not designed to restrain the occupants in case of emergency. Always wear a seatbelt." (Or words to that effect.)

They probably have about the same intrusion protection as the regular doors, with a fraction of the weight!
