Repair bill $1,950 .... new AEV bonnet $1,600 painted .... just gotta convince insurance to go with the AEV ....
would make sense for the insurance company to go AEV...

Sweet!

Both have just been released. The dobinsons come from suspension stuff and forum member. The shocks came from opposite lock. Have the adjuster set at 4 at the moment but will probably drop it back at the back as it is a touch firm but it reacts very quickly with unlike the stock shocks which were pretty poor.

Did a test on the new suspension set up and so far am really happy for what i have in mind. The 40mm tough dogs adjustables seem to work well with 60mm dobinson coils and allow for approx 55mm more droop than standard which is handy as new brakelines would be needed as the lines almost max out. Also the coils would unseat too as you can just start too move them by hand. The shocks control the ride heaps better than the stock ones and can be adjusted from a moderately plush setting to chiropractor visit hard. I have settled for position 3 allround for round town and 1 for offroad work. At the road setting it amazing how much better the handling is mid corner bumps no longer seem to seriously unsettle the rear end and cornering is flatter and faster.
