Jeep Draw system now finished (nearly) few finishing touches which I will do after I have use it a few times to make sure I get it right
The System is design to be flexible.
I would guess if you were to buy all you could easily spend up to $800.00 which is cheaper then buying else where as I was quoted $1990 from ARB plus $295.00 to install.
I was lucky enough to obtain some of the steel through work and also the marine ply.
The bearings were $120.00 alone and properly could be changed to a cheaper system.
There system is fix un like mine which can be used in three ways.
I can use it as a shelf with no draw or can remove shelf in couple of minutes to give me back the full storage room.
or leave as is with the draw.
Thought I might put all the photos together and show all that might be
interested in doing something simular.
The draw took me quite a while to build as I have built it to maximise as much room as possible.
I needed it to fit all my 4WD gear and also when I go diving it needs to fit my scuba tanks with large bags and they only fit in the bottom of the draw as the draw tapers up to match the seat.
The draw is sealed with liquid nails, screw from the outside and inside with angel for maximum strength and to water prove for the wet diving gear.
It fits flush with the hardtop and protrudes about 5mm from the body with the roof off but look good.
