Anyway, we'll see how they go.

The only complaint is the missus complains a bit about the rubber smell.
Ive had neoprene on mine for over 7 years, on my second set, yeah they are a bit hotter in summer bit nothing I cant live with.

Only Downside is the price.

Dare I ask how much?

Surely they couldn't be anymore than some canvas ones I looked at. I was happy to pay $269 for my neoprene ones but there was no way I could justify paying over $300 for a good set of canvas covers.

You're not wrong. Just had a look at them. DBOR have them for $425 I think, for the fronts (and there's no way I'm paying that). Can probably get them a little cheaper from the US but after freight and exchange rate you'll probably not get much change from $400. They do look great but at the end of the day that's a bit rich for 2 seat covers.

I'll keep looking but based on those prices I'll be going with neoprene again and just suffering a sweaty back.

Interested to see if anyone finds them for a slightly more down to earth price.

did this today with the same little alpines. they're cheap. maybe not genuine but they seem OK.

Indeed, without the alpine supplied crossovers fitted they have a very bright sound, enough to require reducing the EQ on the stereo.

Fitting the crossover which is 4.7ohm significantly reduces the hiss and tones things down, so I still feel as if I want to turn the treble up.

So really comes down to what you like personally rather what works for anyone else. Some suggest they could be damaged, but meh.

I did not hook the 4.7ohm resistor up to the stock tweeter. I couldn't be bothered. I bought new tweeters, they were bloody well going in
