The engine cover you just pull upwards at the front and then the rear. Drain plug is easy to get too and so is the oil filter I think. I usually get a syringe and suck the remaining oil out of the bottom of the oil filter housing as oil just sits there. I think this is why some dealers are over filling these engines. Fuel filters are really easy also. Juts don't overtighten otherwise you may crack the filter housing.
I usually use Mobil 1 ESP 5W30.
