Far from correct, I bought wheel bearings 2-3 years ago and I think they were more like $35 a side. I'd have thought that Set 31 would be a Timken reference only, not a generic reference.
There is nothing special about the bearings as far as I'm concerned. I don't even think Jeep would charge that much, have you tried them for a price?
I'd buy from someone like RockAuto or Morris 4x4, will be here in less than a week.
