That's quite odd, I find the TJ seats help my back problem.

Because of the shorter leg room, I have to sit fully upright, which is better on my spine. I am currently driving a Barina whilst trying to buy another Jeep, and the sloping seats are killing me.

Are you keeping the seat fully upright?

Jezz ya all sound likea bunch of old maids....

But now I don't feel so bad - Like Jeff I find the factory seats OK - but I always have 'em as vertical as they go....Maybe ne day I'll fit a nice set of Recaros or SAAS - but in the mean time I'll just realish being shorter than 6' ;)

What solution did you get? My husband is facing the same back pain ICD-10. People suggested to him to use cervical back cushions for support. He travels a lot actually.

I think MSA still do an inflatable lumbar support system that fits in behind their seat covers. You can customise this to suit your self. A lot cheaper and will keep the Jeep roadworthy and leagal. Seat conversions can be a minefield if the proper retro fit rails are not available
