I haven't had time yet to install but hopefully this weekend.
Please let us know how it goes. So has taken 3 months all up so far since you posted it to them?

My WIN just failed completely and have the column locked solid. You have to change the WIN and the column lock at the same time and ! have both new MOPAR replacements. Problem is you can only change the column lock if the WIN is still working to release the lock and remove it!
I tried to program the new WIN with the Appcar program but the module and the routine greyed out as soon as I plugged in the new WIN!
Going to try the AlfaOBD program instead and hope that get at least the new WIN working to release the column lock.

Hi Marcus,

It's not good you are having similar troubles. You are lucky you can still purchase a WIN.
I haven't had any dealings with the WIN type modules and programming to ecu.

Hoping to install the repaired parts tomorrow.

Here are pics of my wcm.

Good luck

Your WCM is the earlier type than mine.
I'll do a report later but did mine new WCM and column shaft lock yesterday and fully programmed it. Have to use new FOBIK's though and did it all using the AlfaOBD software.

What was your total cost may I ask to get the repairs done and second-hand WCM etc?
Cost me nearly $1000 all up for new WCM, column lock and two new FOBIK's.

Well done with the programming. Sounds like AlfaOBD might be an app to have as well.

Repairs cost me $1000, would have only taken a month to do if the parcel didn't get missed placed.

They didn't need the 2nd hand wcm or steering lock module they were able to sync all old and original parts back together.

Had some spare time this arvo to re-install ecu, bcm, wcm, and steering lock module, and I have a jeep again.

Now to get to installing the remanufactured injectors, catch can, and a good service.
