What did you do to your WK Grand today?
I thought I'd start this as I missed it from the XJ forums...
Washed my beast to the high pitched sound of "are you washing your jeep again, you're obsessed!" from the missus.
Drove it down to the tweed heads to pick up a full sized spare rim, blokes can't find the rim, another Gumtree special. Lucky I love driving my Jeep... Got a Yatala pie on the way home to console myself.

I replaced the front, rigid plastic mud flaps with flexible rubber ones.
Cheers

Was that you I seen at Jax quick fit?
I was there for the same reason, at the same time! I got one of the rims, and apparently they had another two (when I was dealing with Nathan on Wednesday he mentioned this)

Yeah that was me, I was told there was only one left by Nathan on Friday - so was already a little concerned when I rocked up to see you walking out with one! My Gumtree experience has been 1 win to about 10 fails so far. The manager reckons there was three more... I was there for an hour while they tore the storeroom apart upstairs looking for them. He's going to try and sort something out Monday...

Good Luck - hope they find them for you. They have been on eBay for ages at $250 so when I seen them on gumtree I emailed them and Nathan definitely said he had three.
Just FYI - I paid $170. Not sure what you were going to pay?

Cheers Mate, yeah I overheard the price when I walked in - I was set to pay $190, but he only asked for $170. Of course I got that back when they couldn't find the rims. See what happens, but it's not a huge drama as I'll probably wear out the stock michelins before upgrading to bigger AT's, so I've got plenty of time to source another before I'd be ready to put rubber on it. I have also been sorely tempted by the mopar rims, so maybe it was a sign
You planning on upgrading your rubber or going to get a matching tyre for the full size? I've read it should fit in the spare wheel well with the cover flush if you put it in upside down - though you have to remove the bins I think.

Think I'm set on BFG A/T - 265/65/18r - probably get these in a few weeks/month as we're planning a trip to the Cape in June.
I think it should just fit under the cover without the bins!
Kev.
