Default OffRoad Tyres for 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hi Lads,

I am looking for some OffRoad tyres for the My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and seriously cant not find any. WTF...?
265/50R20

Can you put a different width tyre on a 265 Rim like a 255 or a 245..?

Chad

I've got the Nitto's on mine. Can't give you too much feedback as only had them a week. No real difference in noise on the road and a lot chunkier than the originals.

I read someone was running Cooper Zeons with no problem, I'm guessing they went for a 55 profile.

Oh, allypally over at jeep garage had the coopers:

Installed the Cooper LTZ 285/50/20 today.
They are slightly noisy, with a low hum when cruising, but after 15mins or so, I wasn't noticing it.

If you're going off-road, you're better off getting 18" wheels and proper all terrain tyres. If you're not going off-road you're better off sticking with road tyres. You'll sacrifice fuel economy and wet weather performance.

I'm running the Nitto Terra Grapplers, cant fault them yet, perform well but if you want to do serious off roading get 18 inch rims
