Default who's running 16s on a jk?

Hi,

Im after a set of 16inch black steel rims.
I bet to a local tyre place who I got a great deal on some bfgs... only problem is he reckons he has called 5 wheel manufacturers and no one will sell them as they reckon they wont fit.... 16x8
I know I need 4.5 or less back spacing for 33s.
I'm told because it came with 17s from the factory im stuck....

anyone give me a proper answer?

Thanks

what year is your JK? they are correct as the later model JK's (not sure from what year) came with bigger brakes so getting a 16" to fit is extremely difficult and would probably need BS in the order of 3" which would be crazy.
