Default Transmission Fluid Level Chart

Hi Everyone, great to be here.

I've had my WH - 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd 3.0L V6 Diesel (Steyr build) for a while but not used it much to date, just now getting into some minor repairs. Can someone please direct me to the correct location to ask a few questions to find which transmission is actually in my Jeep and where to find a correct Fluid Level Chart, there seems to be so many different ones on the web. (I have an OBDII scanner for temperature checking) many thanks MB

Welcome to the forum, you'll find there is a lot of info on the CRD within these forums. The transmission that is in your car is the NAG1/W5A580 (think the model names are used interchangeably.

Default Bush Birthday

Mine got new front diff bushes and sway bar bushes today courtesy of BJ Auto here in Adelaide. Drives like a new one again now.
Between that and doing the alternator and drive belt myself last week, hopefully thats it for a while.

New front OME front struts ,new spring locating rubbers, new JBA upper ball joints. Old ones put in at 80000k now 180000k. Shocks had lost their gas and were weaker.JBA ball joints not too bad however they do let water in.Greasing them often is a must.Pretty straight forward job,be a lot easier if OA wasnt lurking !
