Hi All,

Firstly to Rob and "The Gang Of 6" well done for a great weekend. For me, a little bit more water and therefore mud and it would have been magic.

Manage to get home (without further problems) after a great weekend down at Neerim South.

My new auto worked fine, but the computer kept spitting the dummy about something and going into limp mode. After a visit to my Jeep dealer today, it was a faulty thermostat but on Saturday morning I overheated as you can see in my pictures. Conductor Dan and I thought it was smoke when we stopped because of the amount and how thick it was. Took about 30min to cool and refill with water (about 4-5L)!!! Kept an eye on it for the rest of the weekend and stopped when it got a bit warm.

Also my winch stopped on the Friday night drive L spooled it all out to use and then it wouldn’t go back in, so we wrapped it around the number plate area and that’s where it stayed all weekend. Looks electrical but the motor doesn’t sound too good either. Was working fine a couple of weeks ago. Its at my 4WD centre getting looked at. Its a real bugger cos they need to take the whole ARB bar off to get to anything

Also my front air locker has a massive leak somewhere in the system, so I could only use my rear. Many times I really needed the front to help pull me out of holes, but manage to get through the weekend with only 1 snatch needed and a bit more right foot Ari enjoyed the mud pack I gave him

Very dry and dusty, but manage to find a few muddy spots as you can see from my pics. It was still a fantastic weekend with great weather and great company.

pics of me in the KJ section:

SAdly I have no pics that I took. But I am sure there are some interisting ones around. Two stand out things for me, one: the African "tyre bead god" dance on friday night when introducing a bit of fire to the mix got it sorted out. And Sat night around the fire where the Burbon and beer and even Cruisers were flowing fast and the jokes and stories and antics went on to the wee hours of the morning.
I didnt know TW could dance.
I didnt now Dan was a tram conductor
And then some........

More pics here guys. Sunday morning C Grade trip lead by Glenn in the Red Mack. Was a good trip. Bit too much dust; could have done with a bit more mud but still managed to get stuck. Sensational!
