In regards to another thread about radiators below…

I’m just search parts i’l have to go purchase tomorrow… and gates at repco show a couple listing for drive belts?

Gates Micro-V Multi Ribbed Drive Belt 6 Rib x 2500mm - 6PK2500

Gates Micro-V Multi Ribbed Drive Belt 6 Rib x 2275mm - 6PK2275

Which one is on mine, a 96…

my 96 runs a 6pk 2300 yet my 99 is a 2275 take the old one with you to check the size before you buy and then write it down somewhere

Yeah I found on another website a 96 has the 2500 one. I purchased it along with all the other parts for my repair… I have receipts so can change it if I’m wrong…

it should be printed on the outside, if not you can take the old one with you and they have a machine that measures it

make sure their is a diagram on near the rad that shows how to reinstall it if you do that...all XJs should have this

My 1996 Sport (A/C fitted) uses a 6PK2300, the 6PK2275 sounds about right but you can't always locate them.

Not sure what "additional fitments" on the 4.0L would warrant the 6PK2500...

She’s a sport LuLu and you were right it’s the smaller one… tore it all down today and the belt had it printed on it hahaha,so back to the store tomorrow.
