twinstix, whats transmission do you have?

im hoping to get my jeep crawling close to a 100 by the end of next year :D most likely wont happen, but im alow to dream :D

mmmhh klune :D :D :D

i was poking around their web site and saw a t700r4 klune and jeep dana300 combo

wonder how much drive shaft length in a short wheel base that would leave though ???

sure would be a versitile set up though

th700r4 is 1.5" longer than stock jeep 5speed. dana300 is a little shorted than np231 and a klune is around 5-6" i think so you lose a little. Just stick some high pinion axles under there and it doesn't really matter anymore. hehe.

Don't you all think that around 70 or 80 to 1 is the perfect low range for our australian conditions. I am thinking 100:1 is way too low for most of the stuff we do.

Ummm Zach, Dave's in a CJ remember... So it's already got the D300, it also has a shorter tranny than the TJ (I believe)....
So I'd guess with a set of high pinions he could just connect the t/case to the pinion [img]tongue.gif[/img]
