Are the shocks any real use at that much of an angle?
Not Dissin just wondering how much ride improvement you get if they are that steep?
They may work better across the trailer?

Great build all round, I like all the gadgets!

I was thinking the same, l was trying to leave them where they were. But as you said wont work. So l change the setup. Thanks for the feed back.

Finish welding and painting the underneath. Put on two new chains and also welded on brackets for two water tanks. Rewire the whole trailer for the tail lights and the battery supplies leads. I will be moving the axle to under the springs and will need shorter u-bolts, but might wait to camper is finish, as i might need extra leaves. Also need bigger tyres.

Lookin good!
1 more little tip, get some split hose and cable tie it around the lighting cables wherever they go through the steel.
It wont take much to cut through the outer sheathing with the bare edges and short out your lights.
Now get out there camping!

I plan on using rubber grommets and then a bit of Sikaflex to hold the wire in place for my trailer

I've started build on new kitchen for some old metal shelf. The idea is the most of the weight is helded by the trailer, so l was going to put the 80l fridge closer to the trailer. I got thinking and not sure if te fridge would be heavier. because the other part is the sink/stove and all the kitchen stuff (pans, plates, knife/forks, etc). So what other thoughts.

I meant to be 4wdriving, but due to sick kids, l cant. But got some work done on the camper.

Ive put kitchen on hold while l wait for parts, started building front and side toolboxs. I want to be able to jack with the high lift any where on the trailer, so using 70x50mm RHS around the whole edge. The rest is out of 35x35 and 25x25mm (what l got left over). Then clad with 1.6mm alum tread plate to keep the weight down.
