& dont worry, they would probably supply a non genuine part they obtained off ebay & have quoted the list price for. Some one has to pay for the showroom.

True layback. On advice from cmohr, I called Repco and they have one available for approx $116, be he has said it may not solve the issue. He had to get his PCM re-programmed even after replacing the sensors multiple times. I pulled and re-seated the plug last night, cleared the code and ran the car until it was up to temp and nothing came up again. I shut down a re-started the car as that was normally when the code triggered and nothing.... I'll have to wait until I can go for a decent drive to see what happens, but it normally was fine on the first leg of a drive, then would throw the code after being parked for 5 mins and setting off again. Odd...

No issues this morning on the 35 min drive to work. Hopefully it was operator error and I'd just not plugged it in right when I first pulled the sensor.
It will take some time to see if the original P0430 code returns or not. It usually only did it once every 4-500 km.

i had this problem too with the ABS and brake light, i changed the sensor in the top of the rear diff and the problem went away for a little while so i thought that fixed it yet a month latter it came back again, investigating again i found that the connector to the sensor had a broken wire in it , i cut off the connector and soldered and heat shrinked a replacement plug with about 20cm of cable, been good for the last 8 months now, jeep used cheap low quality wire in all the kJ looms and the wires fracture internally causing intermittent issues, its not the only fractured wire i have found I had another broken one in the engine bay related to a different issue, they are a pain in the ass to find but from what ive read quite a common problem.
