Default chief nudge bar and decent sized spotties

So on the trialhawk i have gone with a nudge bar instead of a bullbar like the last gc . I have the chief nudge bar and have mounted my htx230's off my old car on it. Now my spotties are pretty big and are suffering from shaking over every bump. The mounting plate is pretty thin and while i could email chief asking for advice i doubt i will get a response so was wondering if anyone is running a chief nudge bar with heavy spotties. Did something simple as a small piece of flat bar bolted underneath give the mounting brackets enough stiffness to stop shaking .

unfortunately you'll have to find a way to brace the bar somehow as the distance from the base of the bar to the spotlight mounts is the issue to much "flex" now stick your heavy spotties on top of that again and you've multiplied that vibration, had a large set of Cibies back in the old days & you had to have a strap bolted to the top of them to stop the "shimmy" that's why people go for the lightbars they weigh less.

This is not something I ever considered before - but now I have an offroad animal nudge bar which I plan to mount Stedi driving lights to

Oh well, too late to turn back now

Stedi lights are fairly light for their size. They also come with a rubber shim to help with any vibration, so you might be alright.

i've picked up some flat bar and will cut some small sections out and bolt one underneath the mounting bracket and see if that steadies them. If not i'll buy the lightfoirce top mount bracket and make up a mount that attaches somewhere inside the grill
